Joining a church can seem like a formality and feel outdated. And while membership is never required to participate in the ministries of Brownsville UMC, becoming a member of a church adds layers of connection and commitment to what God is doing in and through this community. If you are new to our physical or online communities and are interested in learning more about the church, the Brownsville neighborhood, the UMC in general, or what it means to become a member, join Pastor Greg for the next Questions and Conversations.

We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we gather is within the ancestral territory of the suq̀ʷabš “People of Clear Salt Water” (Suquamish People). Expert fishermen, canoe builders, and basket weavers, the suq̀ʷabš live in harmony with the lands and waterways along Washington’s Central Salish Sea as they have for thousands of years. Here, the suq̀ʷabš live and protect the land and waters of their ancestors for future generations as promised by the Point Elliot Treaty of 1855.
